Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using the SkulHub platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

SkulHub provides different types of user accounts:

• Parent/Guardian accounts for mobile app access
• Teacher accounts for mobile app access
• Driver accounts for mobile app access
• Administrator accounts for web dashboard access

Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.

Users agree to:

• Use the platform only for lawful educational purposes
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of student information
• Not share login credentials with unauthorized individuals
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system
• Not upload malicious code or engage in activities that may harm the platform

SkulHub is committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially students. We collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, including the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019. All student data is encrypted and stored securely.

Schools retain ownership of all data entered into the system. SkulHub acts as a data processor and will not share student information with third parties without explicit consent from the school administration.

The SkulHub mobile applications for guardians, teachers, and drivers are available for iOS and Android devices. By downloading and using these applications, you agree to:

• Keep your mobile device secure with appropriate passwords or biometric locks
• Update the application regularly to receive security patches
• Allow necessary permissions for notifications and data synchronization

The administrator web dashboard is accessible through modern web browsers and is optimized for both desktop and mobile browser access. Administrators are responsible for managing user permissions and maintaining appropriate access controls.

While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, SkulHub does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance whenever possible. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

All content, features, and functionality of SkulHub, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and images, are the exclusive property of SkulHub and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

SkulHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim related to these services shall not exceed the amount paid by the school for the service during the twelve months prior to the claim.

SkulHub reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Major changes will be communicated via email to all registered administrators.

SkulHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Schools may terminate their subscription at any time with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, schools will have 60 days to export their data before it is permanently deleted.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
